Aditya-L1 one of longest PSLV missions ever undertaken

Aditya-L1 is India's first mission to study the Sun. It will orbit a special point 1.5 million km from Earth called Lagrange point 1. This spacecraft won't land on the Sun but will study its outer atmosphere. It's different from other missions as it takes over an hour to reach its spot. Once there, it will watch the Sun and how it affects our environment. It's a significant step in solar research for India. This mission is scheduled to launch on Saturday (September 2) at 11.50 am from the Second Launch Pad (SLP) at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

We extend our congratulations to ISRO on behalf of The Fragrance People.
